Seafood Prix d'Elite
The Seafood Prix d'Elite competition recognizes the year's best products
developed for the European seafood market. Two grand prizes are awarded for Best New Retail Product and Best New
Foodservice Product. Special Awards are given out for Health and Nutrition,
Convenience, Retail Packaging, Originality, and Best New Product Line.
All finalists’ products are evaluated by a distinguished jury of seafood buyers,
chefs and industry experts, representing countries throughout Europe. Points are
tracked and audited by Ernst & Young to ensure credibility and accuracy. The
products selected as finalists
are prominently displayed in the Seafood Prix d’Elite stand where they will be
viewed by a large audience with huge buying power.
Winners receive additional exposure throughout the year
through special advertising and publicity, the use of the Seafood Prix d’Elite
logo on their product and in their stands, as well as being featured on the
event website. With over 1,000
exhibitors at the European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe, to
be chosen as a winner of the Seafood Prix d’Elite bestows a sense of pride and
accomplishment.
