2010 Seafood Prix d’Elite Winners

At the 2010 Seafood Prix d’Elite competition, Prins & Dingemanse took the award for best retail product with its entry, Oyster Tasting Platter. This innovative product features Zeeland, flat and French oysters in a three compartment package.

In the foodservice category, the top prize was given to Grant’s Smokehouse for its product, MacKnight’s Smoked Salmon Bacon. A healthy alternative to bacon, this Atlantic salmon product is cured with a special blend of rock salt, spices and maple syrup.

The Seafood Prix d'Elite competition recognizes the year's best products developed for the European seafood market. Two grand prizes are awarded for Best New Retail Product and Best New Foodservice Product. Special Awards are given out for Health and Nutrition, Convenience, Retail Packaging, Originality, and Best New Product Line.

 

Display the Seafood Prix d'Elite in your booth. All finalists’ products are evaluated by a distinguished jury of seafood buyers, chefs and industry experts, representing countries throughout Europe. Points are tracked and audited by Ernst & Young to ensure credibility and accuracy. The products selected as finalists are prominently displayed in the Seafood Prix d’Elite stand where they will be viewed by a large audience with huge buying power.

 

Display the Seafood Prix d'Elite in your booth.Winners receive additional exposure throughout the year through special advertising and publicity, the use of the Seafood Prix d’Elite logo on their product and in their stands, as well as being featured on the event website. With over 1,000 exhibitors at the European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe, to be chosen as a winner of the Seafood Prix d’Elite bestows a sense of pride and accomplishment.
